New England's biggest and baddest snowstorms. The storms are listed by the maximum amount of snow CONFIRMED to have fallen during the storm in New England. The maximum snowfall had to have been reported in a city, town or CDP with a population of at least five people. Amounts recorded on mountain tops and ski resorts do not count. At present, we do NOT recognize The Weather Channel's winter storm names.
